We support education that truly changes the way people think about the climate!
The Mamy Projekt Foundation has completed the implementation of the initiative “Turning Point – Change Starts With You,” which we had the pleasure of supporting with a grant of PLN 20,000 as part of our Grant Program.
At the EkoCentrum “Turning Point” in Warsaw, 24 eco-lessons were held, attended by 565 participants—students and caregivers. The classes used a modern form of education—escape rooms based on gamification and active discovery of knowledge. Participants explored in a practical way topics related to circularity, responsible consumption, waste segregation, and the impact of the fashion industry on the environment. Each eco-lesson concluded with a workshop based on the “Clean Energy Power” materials, which supported reliable education about renewable energy sources.
The outcomes of the project include, among others:
- Increased environmental awareness,
- Development of pro-environmental skills,
- Greater motivation for grassroots initiatives,
- Free and engaging access to knowledge about renewable energy sources.
“When creating Turning Point, we asked young people how they would like to learn about the climate, and we also imagined an educational experience that each of us would willingly engage in to develop ourselves and understand the world. We focused on moving beyond the classroom, gamification, hands-on experience, and doing things that are close to everyday life and truly useful.”
