Respect Energy Group Publishes 2024 Sustainability Report
Respect Energy Group, whose mission is to build an energy system based on renewable sources, has published its 2024 Sustainability Report. The document provides a comprehensive summary of the company’s activities in the areas of environment and climate , social matters, and governance. It also outlines the actions undertaken to implement the Group’s Sustainability Strategy for 2024–2027.

The year 2024 was a period of dynamic development for the Group, as well as continued efforts to support the energy transition in Poland and beyond.
Key achievements of Respect Energy in 2024:
- The total volume of renewable energy produced in the Group’s own generation sources and purchased from producers in 2024 reached 2 619 450,3 MWh.
- The total capacity of the Group’s generation assets amounted to 282,14 MW, with an energy production of 315 852,37 MWh.
- The Group’s renewable energy investment portfolio, including the largest photovoltaic farm in Central and Eastern Europe in Zwartowo, as well as wind farms in Wicko, Jędrzychowice, and Zgorzelec, was expanded with new projects: a photovoltaic farm in Drzeńsko and installations in Wiązownica, Wojciechów, Zaplukowęsy, and Sierpc.
- The company was active on 18 energy exchanges in 26 countries, expanding the scale of green energy sales across Europe and beyond.
- Sales of renewable energy to individual customers were launched.
- The Respect Energy Group Sustainability Strategy for 2024–2027 was implemented, defining key directions in ESG, climate neutrality, and social responsibility.
About the report
- This Sustainability Report covers the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and covers the companies within Respect Energy Holding Group, where Respect Energy Holding S.A. is the parent company.
- The report was prepared in accordance with the latest version of the GRI Universal Standards, effective from 2023, at the Core level.
- While the Group is not currently required to report under ESRS, it conducted a double materiality analysis based on the EU ESRS reporting standards to ensure comparability with entities subject to this requirement. Additionally, some ESRS disclosures were included and clearly marked alongside GRI indicators.
- The document also presents the Group’s contribution to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and includes data on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, calculated according to the GHG Protocol. For the first time, the 2024 report shows data for all 12 categories of Scope 3 emissions relevant to the Group’s operations. The report is available in Polish and English and has undergone independent review.
